As of 2026, the College Board operates test centers in three Pakistani cities. The number of seats at each center is limited — register as soon as registration opens, typically 4–6 weeks before each test date.
Karachi
Lahore
Islamabad / Rawalpindi
Always verify the current list at sat.collegeboard.org before registering — centers are occasionally added or suspended. When you register, confirm that your chosen date is available at your preferred center before completing payment.
The SAT is offered globally on a fixed schedule. Pakistani test centers typically offer the following dates each year:
Not every center offers every test date. International test centers in Pakistan generally follow the same schedule as US centers, but availability varies. Check collegeboard.org in the month before registration opens for each date.
Planning your test date: Work backwards from your application deadline. LUMS applications close in February — you need your SAT score no later than January. This means taking the SAT in November or December at the latest, with October as the safer option that allows a retake in November if needed.
After registration, download and print your admission ticket from your College Board account. You will not be admitted without it.
Bring both of these — no exceptions:
The test center may refuse entry if either document is missing, the name on your ID does not match your registration, or you arrive after check-in closes (typically 30–45 minutes after the stated start time).
Additional items: a laptop or tablet running the Bluebook app (some centers provide devices — confirm when you register), charger, water, and a snack for the break.
If you are from Balochistan, KPK, Gilgit-Baltistan, or any city without a registered center, you will need to travel to Karachi, Lahore, or Islamabad to sit the test.
