About This Scholarship

The federal government's largest undergraduate scholarship programme, disbursed through HEC to students at all HEC-recognised universities across Pakistan. If you are enrolled at a public or private university, this is the most important scholarship to apply for.

Eligibility

Students at HEC-recognised universities with CGPA 2.0+ and family income below Rs 45,000/month

  • Enrolled at an HEC-recognised university
  • Minimum CGPA of 2.0 (or equivalent)
  • Family monthly income below Rs 45,000
  • No other government scholarship in effect

How to Apply

  1. Visit your university's financial aid or student affairs office
  2. Obtain the HEC need-based scholarship application form
  3. Submit income certificate, CNIC copies of parents, utility bills, and bank statements
  4. University forwards shortlisted applications to HEC
  5. HEC disburses scholarship directly to university account
