About This Scholarship

The Commonwealth Scholarship Commission offers master's and PhD scholarships at UK universities with a specific focus on development impact. Pakistan is a priority country, and the scheme actively seeks applicants from underserved regions whose work will benefit their home communities.

Eligibility

Pakistani citizens with a first-class or strong upper-second bachelor's degree, under 40 (most schemes)

  • Pakistani citizen and permanent resident
  • First-class or strong upper-second bachelor's degree
  • Cannot already hold a PhD (for PhD scheme)
  • Clear development impact plan for Pakistan

How to Apply

  1. Apply via the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission website
  2. Nominate your preferred UK university and programme
  3. Write a 500-word development impact statement
  4. Secure two academic references
  5. Apply for university admission separately if shortlisted
