Daakhla is a not-for-profit providing free admissions counselling and SAT preparation to students across Pakistan. We take your privacy seriously and collect only what we need to help you.
When you create an account or apply, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and the details you provide in your application — your school, grade, district, province, family income range, and personal statement. If you upload documents (transcripts, ID, recommendations), we store those securely.
We use your information to review your application, match you with a suitable mentor, communicate with you about your application and our programs, and send you transactional emails (such as status updates). We do not use your data for advertising.
Only the Daakhla team and the mentor assigned to you can access your application data. We never sell your data, and we never share it with third parties for marketing.
Your data is stored with Supabase, our database and authentication provider, on servers located in the United States/European Union. Files are stored in encrypted object storage. We are transparent about this so you know exactly where your information lives.
We use only essential cookies — to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
You can ask us to delete your account and all associated data at any time. Email hello@daakhla.org and we will remove it.
