A full scholarship covers all costs of university education — typically tuition, accommodation, food, and sometimes a monthly living stipend — requiring no payment from the student or family.
A full scholarship eliminates the financial burden of university entirely for the recipient. The most comprehensive full scholarships (such as LUMS NOP, Habib Yohsin, Fulbright, and Chevening) cover tuition, accommodation, and a living allowance. Partial scholarships cover a percentage of costs.
Full scholarships are rare and highly competitive. Most are awarded to students who combine academic merit with demonstrable financial need and often additional qualities — leadership, community commitment, or regional background.
Several full scholarships are specifically available to Pakistani students from underserved districts. LUMS NOP, Habib Yohsin, IBA Talent Hunt, and AKF scholarships all cover full costs for qualifying students. For international study, Fulbright (US master's), Chevening (UK master's), and Commonwealth Scholarships (UK postgraduate) are full funding. These scholarships exist — the barrier is knowing they exist and applying well.
